How To Master Key All Your Locks and Change Any Lock In Less Than Ten Seconds!

Are YOU...

  • Carrying a bunch of different keys for your rentals?

  • Wasting time changing locks when tenants move?

  • Not changing locks between tenants (very dangerous) because of the hassle?

  • Having to look for a key to give to your maintenance or repair person?

  • Buying new locks each time you have to change locks?

If your answer to any of these question is yes, you should consider the master-key system for landlords. This system is built by the  Kwikset  Corporation (formally Titan), a leader in lock technology and comes with a 50 year warranty.

The unique lock system has a pick resistant 6 pin cylinder that can be removed for easy changing with a specific master/control key (see diagram below).  No more buying new locks. Once you have this system all you have to do is have a few spare cylinders that you can easily switch when your tenants move.

See How Easy It Is To Change A Lock ..Less than Ten Seconds!

Step 1-

To change entry knob cylinders, simply insert the master/control key and rotate it 1/4th turn counterclockwise to the 9:00 o'clock position...

Step 2-

...and pull gently. The cylinder will follow the key out of the knob.

Step 3 -

Then, simply insert the master/control key into the new cylinder and rotate the key 1/4th turn counterclockwise. Slide the new cylinder into the knob and turn the master/control key 1/4th turn clockwise to the
12:00 o'clock position and remove the master/control key.

In less than 10 seconds the lock is changed!

The cylinders can be set up in many different combinations and keyed differently for any type of building. For example:

Each tenant lock can only be opened with the tenant's key and of course your master key! All you tenants keys may also open up a lock to your laundry area or a main door. You may set this up any way that you would like.

Because we buy these locks in bulk we can provide you with a master key system at less than retail cost. We buy directly from a wholesaler (no middleman) then sell directly to you.

This is the exact system that I use on my rentals. The way that I use this system, to keep costs down, is that I use deadbolts that are master keyed. The door handle is a passage handle with no lock. I buy these from local building supply stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Menards) for about $5.00 - $8.00. The reason I do it this way is because the door handle is the one that tends to wear out or get broken by the tenants.

My only exception to this is when I own a building that doesn't have deadbolts already in it or it is for areas that normally don't have a deadbolt (a garage service door). In this case I use the master-keyed door handle.

How To Get A Price Quote

To find out what it will cost you to set up your buildings on the master keyed system here's what you should do.

  1. Make a list of how many locks you need and how you want them keyed.

Example 1: ( 8 Deadbolts - Keyed is sets of two - 4 sets) (4 handle locks - 2 keyed to match 2 deadbolts sets - 2 keyed completely separate) (4 deadbolt replacement cylinders - keyed is sets of two) (two replacement cylinders for door handle - keyed separate).

    Example 2: (1243 4th street - 2 deadbolts, 1 handle - keyed the same) ( 842 9th - 2 deadbolts -keyed the same) (2 deadbolts and 1 handle replacement cylinders keyed the same)

  2. Attach the list you made and email me at Dave@landlordtools.com
